Hrm... if I'm reading you right, it's just a spell effect; you'd make an Enchantment, build the "spell absorbtion" spell effect into this Enchantment, and then apply that to armor, a weapon, clothing, or an amulet or ring.

okey I didn't explain that very well...
I chose the sign atronach (sp?) for the first time. So I have stunted magicka, and I thing called spellabsorbation. I got the idea that this would help me retrieve magicka. If it will then what should I do with it? And if it won't what's it for?:eek:

Actually, we're talking about the same thing here, I'm just not sure where you want to go with it; the Atronach birthsign is really just a few constant-effect spell effects wrapped into a birthsign (just like one sign [Thief, maybe?] has a constant-effect Sanctuary of 10pts). So, given that, what kind of end-product do you want to wind up with? An enchantment on an object? Create a new birthsign? (etc...)
Or, on the off chance that you're just asking what Spell Absorbtion does, then yup, all it does is gives you a chance to kill a spell before it affects you and then absorb whatever magicka it took to "cast" it. It doesn't stop potions or inventory items that you use, but it does stop spell effects cast on you by NPCs, Critters, and various non-inventory objects (shrines, trapped chests, etc) Further, it's a favourite trick of Atronach mages to summon an Ancestral Ghost, tick it off, and then just sit back and soak up all the spells it casts at you. It may be that low-power spells are absorbed easier, but I haven't delved into that very deeply. Personally, I like to get to a decent rank in either the Cult or the Temple and then just keep using their shrines over and over for 0 gold each time.
