I know a small, fairly silly demo mission, but "The Wrestling Match" sadly doesnt work anymore under NewDark. The match never starts and it seems the betting mechanics dont quite work anymore

I think it's realated to how the .osm files used to be compiled. Newer script modules are usually fine.
Telliamed re-wrote GayleSaver's scripts (and ported scripts from the other Dark Engine games), so you could try overwriting the original .osm with this one:
(
https://dromed.whoopdedo.org/public_scripts/index)
(note there are multiple copies, one for T1, T2, and SS2, and you'll need the file 'dh2.osl').

I just downloaded it to see if there are any error messages. The only thing I had to do was rebuild the pathfinding database; the original .osm file loaded fine.

Would it be possible to upload this updated pathfinding? I assume this is what causing the AI to never start the "wrestling match".
I am a total and utter noob when it comes to dromed, my crowning achievement in it was to just make scripts to highlight loot and keys during a FM, so anything like this seems beyond what i am used to.
But if giving me instructions is easier for you, i dont mind it as well.
I am on a quest to chronologically play all FMs ever made starting from 1999's authors onwards (i will play all the author's missions when i first encounter his/her first mission, so i can see how their skills progressed as they improved the craft).
With this methodology, this Demo mission is the first FM in probably over a 100 FMs, where i couldnt complete it at all due to technical bugs. Quite impressive IMO, most of the old stuff is well maintained by the community! :D
