ok i killed the blades guy for fun and it sayed i broke the tread of prophecies and it said i could live in my doomed world but what all changes when i screw the world?

"Thread of Fate", I believe, and all it means is that the way the designers meant you to solve the game is now permanently screwed.
There's a backup way, but it's not as story-based, though. If you want to follow that, read my July 4th post in this thread:
