As far as I can tell, the show going off the air didn't really have anything to do with BLM, but rather with the mass murder of black people in a church by a guy who very proudly displayed that flag. And the issue here is really not that the show was racist, but that people marching under that flag were hardly "Just the good ol' boys, never meanin' no harm ... fightin' the system like a-two modern day Robin Hoods." And the modern use of the flag was very much a response to the civil rights movement and to this day very prominently figures in white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups.

As far as i know it was taken off in 2015 in USA which was before BLM. I just bought it just in case it is taken off the market all together + increase in value.
I read an article, by a black conservative writer, who opposed BLM saying it was continuing what Martin Luther King Jr started back in the day. Martin Luther King Jr. was a conservative Republican who supported Richard Nixon and was against any form of LGBT with him a preacher. The article went on to say that he would have been opposed to Black Lives Matter.
On a lighter note: I thought it was funny when NYC painted "Black Lives Matter" on the street in front of Trump Tower. :laff:

Whoa, whoa, Martin would not have been opposed to BLM. He would have been on the front lines with them. And this black conservative knows this if he is anything but a well paid pawn of the right. He also knows the parties switched platforms in the late sixties and since the seventies Republicans have been the party of racism and old south bigotry. King didn't support Nixon either. He tried to work with him but he tried to work with all politicians to get the civil rights bill passed. That isn't the same thing. This guy you speak of is a dupe and an unknowledgeable or outright deceitful one.
As far as The Dukes go it was a fun parody. But getting away from old south symbols is just something we have to do. They are sported about by the worst segment of southern society no matter what the better ones think of them and if the better ones do think then they know that and at least passively support it which doesn't make them the better ones after all. It's difficult to talk to them about it too. They are entrenched like the civil war ended yesterday. I know a lot of them aren't racist but they aren't what you would call open minded either. It takes them a while to bend. On the plus side when a poll was taken 52% of my state were for changing the state flag in favor of one without the battle flag on it. And we are. Of course now they want "In God we trust" on it. I'm for that as long as we also put "all others pay cash".

I don't know what is true half the time anymore because everyone has an agenda and everyone is more than willing to lie to further their agenda. That being said, politicians (and money grubbers) always use and find a way to profit from what is going on in the world. Maybe we should calling people like that Ferengi's.
To me all "In God we trust" means is that 'cash is their god'. Conservative and Liberal are meaningless these days.

You'll probably get better assignments when you prove some competence.
4Chan is a public forum. Since you're very smart you should be able to find people discussing this somewhere on there if it were true. In reality I can not access 4Chan because I use a DNS filter that blocks it.

howeird, I know some guys who always make money during these times of upset - Covid, the lead up to and aftermath of Brexit, etc. The volatility in the stock market means if you invest enough you can consistently make profits. During the start of Covid guys were making 4 - 10k a week just buying and selling the highly traded FTSE 100 companies.
Money makes money. And of course... Good business, is where you find it.

I know some people that profited from the 2007-08 stock market collapse. They bought up the homes at a discount rate of people that lost them and made out after home values went back up.

Are these guys all Ferengi?
