Does that mean it's NOT cool to want to see this movie now?
Why do you guys have to make things so difficult for me?

Just come back from watching this. Well worth seeing - I enjoyed it a lot. It gets a bit hectic at times, but they're obviously fitting in quite a lot of the books.

Looks pretty cool, but I wonder if I'm the only one who wishes that someone other than Michael Cera could have been cast, it's getting so damn tiresome to see him reprise the same limp role over and over.
This. I feel like he can't get away from his George Michael character from Arrested Development. His relationship with Maybe haunts every single scene he has with another female so far. He's already a victim of typecasting and just doesn't realize it yet - his career is only going to go so far with these roles which is sad because he's truly a funny and talented guy. Shaiaiaa Lebouiboof, anyone? (Well, except for the talented and funny part...)

I agree with you (except about him being funny in general). However, he actually did a pretty good job in the role and his quirks were used to good effect.
Don't think this film is going to be a timeless classic (there's nothing "intelektual" to discuss here), but it can't be beat for pure, silly fun. What makes the film special is the directing: Edgar Wright is a genius when it comes to film editing.

It was ok. Not enough good laughs, too many telegraphed obvious jokes and despite the effects and choreography being good it somehow became unexciting. It started great though.
