Ive heard that warren Spector is due to leave Ion Storm. That and about 25 other staff have been laid off, can anyone confirm :confused:

There hasn't been any official confirmation (ie. no press release) -- or denial -- but inside sources confirm that about 25 were laid off and that Warren has left for his own reasons.

Right now, the future of DX3 doesn't look too bright. But it's a young creature. There's plenty of time for it to mature and for the situation to change.

Considering what they did with Deus Ex IW I'm not that bothered or surprised. Deus Ex 3 will probably be console only anyway as Ion Storm are now doing console only games. Warren will probably think something up, like Deus Ex, lets hope he's learned his lesson from IW (not to make a console game for PC).
