Is it possible to save Tarhiel without magic? (You could probably just cast a ranged levitate on him until he came close enough to the ground to drop safely) But I have no magic, I'm playing a fighter-type guy.

Tarhiel's supposed to die. Saving him probably won't do anything, but you can go ahead and try. I think the only way is with magic.

I heard that if you save him he will only be mad at you, but I can't help but feel bad for the poor elf. Anyway, I'm sure you can save him with a ranged slowfall or levitation spell.
