I'd like to use S&Rs to implement aesthetic changes to an AI mesh as well as particle effects. These changes should be determined dynamically depending on whether the AI is standing still, walking or running.
Ex: AI should not emit particles when standing still, emit blue particles when walking, and emit red particles when running.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

A marker with a radius stim for each AI, with linear dispersion, firing every (interval).
The AI has different receptrons for the stim at different intensities, with lower intensities indicating that the AI has moved farther from its previous position in the time interval.
Then the AI has one final receptron which teleports the marker to its current location, to track from for the next iteration.

Perfect! Thank you!

I wonder if an AI's current groundloco state is accessible via scripts.

Could be, although that won't help Mr. OldDark with doing it in this particular case. :D

It's the principle of the thing.
Specifically, the principle of rubbing in how pointlessly difficult he's making his life.
