I dunno where you live, but here, anyway who pronounces it any other way than "Dill Lan" is mispronouncing it (in my experience, anyway).
So yeah, the damn thing didn't work. Had it call my mom, but hte message it left was cut off - no "Hey Lisa", it just started in the middle of Sam's SOAP rant- so she thought it was just a random advertisement and turned it off in 5 seconds.

It's along the lines of Dullan (someone with a better knowledge of Welsh can perhaps provide a better phonetic spelling), which is the original pronunciation and still the norm for at least the Conwy/Gwynedd area.
