Clever marketing? Probably.
Hilarious fun? Absolutely!

Essentially, you create a custom message that Samuel Jackson will read to whoever you send it to, either via phone or email. It has a pretty good name database from what I can see, since it worked on quite a few victims, er, I mean friends that I sent it to. :sly:

Yeah, it is gold. I sent one to my wife earlier in the week. Brilliant.

This movie is going to be awesome. AWESOME
Sadly, I won't be able to see it on opening weekend, since I'll be living out of a tent in the great northern wilderness for a couple weeks, but the weekend after it opens, I am there.
In the meantime, I think I know a few people who are going to get some motherfuckin' phone calls.

He can't recognize the name 'Dean', even though it is (as of 2000) the 173rd most common male name in the US - meanwhile, he knows Dylan even though it is 512. What criteria did they use to do this?
That said, I love how 'ex wife' is a relationship option.
That said, they divide cars into 'SUV' 'sports car' and 'junky car' - as if anything other than a SUV/sports car is junk. What's with that?
Can't do it to my parents, unfortunately - don't have my dad's name and don't have my mom's job. Oh well.

As Aerothorn demonstrates, the site also doubles as a filter, turning off individuals who probably wouldn't enjoy the movie anyway.

That's pretty interesting right there
I'm seeing this opening night, and I can't wait for the snakes.
