Ati Tray Tools can be a little bit daunting, since it's got so many options.
There's a tray icon, and if you right click on it, it will give you a lot of menus for all the options. The one dealing with the fog is in the advanced-tweaks section. You need to disable w-fog, and enable z-fog and table-fog.

Thanks for the help ejsmith! I've got fog back :D ATI Tray Tools works fine.
It doesnt look as good as I expected (the standard fog looks a lot better), but it's still fog.
Sadly the return of fog created another problem. The mission I tested, Swamped, runs a lot faster now then before I played it without fog. Walking, blackjacking, killing tree-beats, everything is accelerated. Anyone knows a solution?

Please excuse thread necromancy and extreme ignorance but have just installed the ATI Tools Tray and for the first time I have fog. However, I also have some numbers running in the top right hand corner of the screen whilst in game.
Wondered what these were and whether I can get rid of them. Words of one syllable would be appreciated for any instructions on removal. :)

Hmmm. Screenshot?

Thanks jtr7 I'll have a go but they're usually rubbish and way too dark.
OK just tried but they don't show up on the screenshot. Trouble is I know nothing at all about these sorts of programmes and was just so glad to get some fog. Its not really a major issue as they're quite small. Just run up and down from 1 to about 50 or something. They also change colour with the highest numbers being yellow and the lowest being red.

Put - some - black - tape - on - the - screen - corner.
Doh! I almost kept it to one syllable words... I don't win. :(

Sounds like framerate to me. It's like you have FRAPS running or the ATI tools has something similar. If you notice the number go down when the scene is more complex then it's surely framerate. So hopefully that might help you find out how to turn it off.

Thanks Shadak, I'll have a look.

yeah, I get those numbers. There's an option to turn em off somewhere, but I leave them on - it's helpful for testing, and to see if the game's likely to crash etc.
