I forgot to create this thread last week. I have been watching the trailers and am actually excited for what it COULD be. After being disappointed by SR1 and skipping 2, this could redeem the franchise in my eyes.

Hmnn...Can't say I'm too wowed by this, going by the first video anyway. The opportunistic violence seems less fun than what it should be when you compare this to games such as GTA where you are not really "supposed" to attack the general public but do so either by accident or so through carelessness and this adds to the humour factor, particularly as others around the victim react to your actions.

All this aside: Saints Row 3 looks like Volition's been doing too much meth and crack and smack all at once. I think it's going to be glorious - IF they can maintain the density of diversions and the total, 'hey it's a game, fuck around as much as you wanna' approach of last time around while still wrapping it around a narrative spine I can give half of a shit about.
