I wish we could make a deal with the Clintons. We'll agree to forget about any past transgressions, and you agree to just go away. No more running for office, no more political speeches, no more book tours, stay off of the news & opinion shows, and let other people run your foundation, or better yet shut it down.

foundation was shut down IIRC. and yeah it would be nice if they just disappeared
Renzatic on 18/10/2017 at 20:35
Nope, the Clinton Foundation is still around.
jkcerda on 18/10/2017 at 21:14
should close with the Clintons going behind bars
Renzatic on 18/10/2017 at 21:24
Doubt you're gonna see that happen anytime soon.
By the way, Snopes isn't selective about what they report. They're not a news site. They're an urban legends and rumors site. Basically, they won't report on the latest goings on in the news, but if people are running around claiming things they heard about Trump, the Clintons, etc, they'll address whether it's true or not.
Which is why they post things like...
(
http://www.snopes.com/obama-trump-travel-costs/) This
and...
(
http://www.snopes.com/trump-retreat/) This

It doesn't, though the issue of collusion is still very much up in the air.
What about it is still up in the air? They admitted it. The e-mail said on black and white, "This is a part of Russian government's efforts to help you" and prince Dampnut replied, "I love it" and set up a meeting. Not to mention that black caviar loving Paul Manafort himself attended that meeting.

And as I've explained before, that doesn't quite rise to the level of collusion. It's crass and opportunistic, but it doesn't have that layer of active involvement required for it to pass muster.
Though that's not to say that the Trump campaign is entirely innocent, either. That one instance doesn't prove much, but we're all pretty sure by this point that Manafort at least will be found guilty of something heinous involving Russia or some other foreign entity by the time the dust settles. But beyond him, we really don't know who did what with whom yet beyond the few scraps that leak out of the Mueller investigation.
All the evidence we the people have seen thus far is interesting, but still circumstantial. Trump's wide, tangled web of Russian interests could be innocent.
...too bad he didn't release his tax returns, huh? If he did, we'd all have a better idea of just how guilty or innocent his various Russian connections actually are. Though with Trump being Trump (aka stupid), he could've refused to release them for public scrutiny either because it'd show he isn't as good with money as he loves to claim (and Trump HATES looking bad), or he's covering his ass, trying to keep his dirty deeds on the low down.
Who the hell knows by this point?
