nemyax, did you hear that? You also agent of KGB!
I did not say he was. I supplied information he was lacking. If he tries to deny it when it's an obvious fact then....

So, Yanukovitch also had to stay and brutally suppress the uprising of the
libro/banderovits?
Probably, it would be for the best, thinking in hindsight.
Would live in simple post-soviet mentality. Without cookies from western ellites but and without "Russian world" inspired by such esotherical fascist as Dugin.
Without thousands lives in Donbas, tens thousands now.
However, this is a disputable question: "Real meat products" of 60k it's russian millitary or ukrainians?
When you can hear the people sing, it's either time to face the music or flee with your tail between your legs. A leader can also take responsibility for his actions, but Yanukovych chose the latter. Brutally suppressing protests is more something that Putin has chosen in Russia, where people are arrested for carrying blank signs.
Yes, the Ukrainian military are currently suppressing the Russian invaders with what means they have available. But those are no protesters. They come with guns and bombs and (
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/8/24/fifteen-dead-in-air-raid-on-ukraines-independence-day-zelenskyy) blow up train stations and (
https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2022/08/05/tracking-the-faceless-killers-who-mutilated-and-executed-a-ukrainian-pow/) execute and torture civilians and soldiers alike. The comparisons to orcs are not borne out of nothing -- although no invading army can really be expected to behave, there is a blatant disregard to human life (of allies and enemies alike) in Russia's operations and civilian targets are not infrequently (

If Russians were to withdraw behind their own borders, there would be peace. Ukraine would not attack Russia. There was never a threat of Ukraine attacking Russia. The current meat grinder is only the product of Russia who doesn't care even for its own soldiers, let alone Ukrainians.

Although, from the looks of it, they are really loath to leave Crimea, something that has spawned countless memes lately:

Maybe you don't understand they're practically the same, being Dugin much more dangerous (just like the roman empire vs germanic tribes)
There's not "libro", there's no such thing as "liberal" intended as you think outside the US. Not even in Europe. "Liberal" in US way is just a US thing (if you ask me it's something really stupid, but not as dangerous as your Kremlin mafia wants you to believe).

I can't say one way or another if our Russian propagandists are paid or not, but the question is moot, isn't it? They should face moderator action regardless.
lowenz on 26/8/2022 at 21:58
Just let them do propaganda, they're so clueless about the reality behind the Kremlin, like in Soviet times.
Just like for Nemtsov or Politkovskaja.
june gloom on 26/8/2022 at 22:31
Letting them do propaganda is letting them propagandize people. It's not you that's the audience, it's people who might be on the fence. Deplatforming them is the only solution.

Well then why in hell did you act like you didn't know there was an information blackout in Russia? What was the "huh?" for? Russia has blocked all sites in the western sphere to keep it's people in the dark. You acted as if you were unaware. Was it just to get me to post information about it? Did you think others wouldn't know so you could act as if it didn't exist? What? Why play dumb?
And Jesus June Gloom why do you rush to ban people? Nobody is going to be propagandized with this easily refuted weak sauce. These aren't super intelligent KGB. These are farmed out trolls most likely. Maybe not as low as the Africans who read off a script on Facebook but certainly Macedonian teens or at best low paid Russians or Belarus entry level trolls. Putin has paid an army of keyboard warriors to spread his crap but give the folks here credit. Nobody with even a modicum of intelligence would fall for it and this place is far beyond just that. Relax.

I don't think nemyax is a troll. Just because he disagrees with you on this one point, doesn't mean he's a full-on Putin supporter or defending any of this shit. In fact, from the few posts in this thread, it's more like the opposite.
That doesn't mean, of course, that there aren't people in information silos in Russia who let themselves be swayed by propaganda and conspiracy theories for various reasons.
