I seem to remember an certain Orange Lapdog of Putin's saying that he would not rule out using nukes in Europe. I wonder where that notion might have come from.?

Russian media, not to be taken seriously of course, is going absolutely batshit bonkers over the perspective of a final war to end all wars. Parts of it wouldn't look out of place in Starship Troopers.

It's not a mad man, only an ideology-driven boss (and I mean "ideology" in proper Marx meaning as the word was once used). Someone to be put in a gulag in Soviet Russia :p

It's not by chance that warhead missiles designed to hit us in the Western Europe are called "Sarmat" (Satan). It's how he sees us, as the devil. And it's why old Cold War schemes are now futile (and it's why a communist european Russia was a more reliable player).

Um, Sarmat comes from the (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarmatians) Sarmatians and has nothing to do with Satan. It has the nickname Satan 2 only because it's replacing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R-36_(missile)#R-36M_(SS-18)) a missile that has the NATO designation of Satan.
