Sorry I just got wind of this and I didn't process it before posting it.

So you're just going to straight up post articles from the Mirror here? I get that your mental state predisposes you to an affinity towards tabloid crap, but could you exercise an ounce of critical thought before posting it here?
Did it really happen though?
Or are you saying the Mirror made up this story entirely?

The only source for it from the Daily Mirror is another Russian site - but whether or not it happened isn't the issue, it's the quality of the reporting that's in question, as can be seen from the classic Mirror style in what was quoted.
Actually, scratch that, I was being charitable assuming the rag even quoted a source; they do not.

Well Russia will make all of their nuclear power stations use MCST Elbrus CPUs, I hope the Power stations wont blow up because of that move.

"Russia using homegrown Raspberry Pi-like computers in nuclear facilities — Elbrus ES3 certified for use in critical applications"
Quote:
According to a government decree, Russia's critical information infrastructure facilities must transition to using Russian-made hardware and software systems by January 1, 2030. For now, Russia lacks domestically built high-performance hardware, so it has to certify pretty exotic solutions. This month, the country certified programmable controllers based on the Russian-made MCST Elbrus 2S3 processors, which are used for single-board computers that are Russian Raspberry Pi alternatives.
The hardware in question is the Elbrus programmable logic controller (PLC), which is based on the MCST Elbrus-2S3 developed by Roselectronics. The PLC has been registered and included in the registry of hardware-software systems maintained by the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. This certification allows these devices to be used at critical information infrastructure facilities to create automated process control systems.

In June 2024, a new computer based on the “Elbrus-2S3 (Эльбрус-2С3) microprocessor”[1] was developed by Roselektronika.[2][3]
In September 2024, The MCST company presented “Elbrus-2S3 (Эльбрус-2С3) microprocessor”[4] at the 10th anniversary Russian forum "Microelectronics 2024".[5][6]
In December 2024, Programmable logic controllers "PLC-Elbrus (based on the Elbrus-2S3 microprocessor) " of the holding company "Rostec Electronics" of the State Corporation Rostec have passed state registration and are included in the register of software and hardware complexes of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. This allows using the devices at critical information infrastructure facilities to create automated process control systems.[7][8]

Keep in mind the important part of that article:
Quote:
Originally, MCST produced its Elbrus 2C3 processors at TSMC using the latter's 16nm-class process technology, but now that Taiwan does not allow exports of advanced processors to Russia and Belarus, we can only wonder where the chips will be made now and in coming years.
How does Russia do it? They don't. They outsourced the work to Taiwan using TSMC's older processes.
There's no reason the chips are going to blow up - these are made by the same people who make the chips for Apple.
DuatDweller on 19/12/2024 at 16:46
The chips wont blow up, they 're not designed for demanding tasks such as multiple parallel tasking, or they fall short on CPU power to be more direct.

4 hours of Putin godfathering "big russian" nation like a "family" (well, a disfunctional one considering that some "very patriotic members" proclaim that russians are only the slavic ones)

Of course we love you in Italy, how we can't love someone who's so deep in the fascist and mafia values truely holding them like the promise of a better world against a "godless decadent satanic West"?
And I'm no joking, Putin is really the perfect fascist leader, the severe but just dictator against evil anglo-saxon degenerate tyrants.....and I see young people are totally in love with this iconic power perversion.
Awesome when the young lads love so much the elder people sending them to death for the sake of cultural defense and a long gone majesty (bad communism bad, it killed the MAJESTY and people need it to accept and embrace all that suffering and striving a glorious leader condemn them to)
What a wonderful world you've crafted for us and the next 100 years......HitlerJugend would be so jelouse, you even speak german "for the sake of sovereignty" against the treacherous and wicked Albion spreading everywhere but in Rossija with that shitty английский.....totally better than some clumsy austrian painter.
As W.T. put perfectly in words.....
It's the ultimate sacrifice
Like a God, you threw the dice
And then you left us all wireless
I started to wonder
Why is your smile so callous?
Why is your heart so heartless?
Try to elevate your demise
You got everything sanctified
All is shattered and is wireless
We're forced through the gauntlet
Like mice in a maze, we're running
Like moths to the flames we're falling
It's here, you wear the mark of shame
It's here, just like the mark of Cain
You never cared for us, just our halo
With its glorious force to draw more souls in
You never cared for us, our dreams evaporating
You left us here without a safety-pin
You never cared for us, just our halo
Our bloody halo

looking at the azerbaijan incident there is a past incident where the soviets shot down Korean airlines. Events like mh17 that happened decades ago are also heartbreaking.
But we still have to be on high alert if we find cases like the civilian falcon 50 plane carrying exocets missiles.
other than civillian aircraft hit by missiles and facing uncontained failure, I wonder how the flight calibration service plane ( this plane is a small plane & sometimes fly in circles ) corrects gps jamming.
Suddenly the concept of anti-missiles on el al airlines' planes makes sense... even fedex is requesting that thing
DuatDweller on 5/1/2025 at 12:35
Putin thinks its ok to take down passengers aircraft, after all they might get confused for drones.
Oopsy.

They simply don't care, like for the (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17)
Why a state must care for a bunch of people if the mission (ahah) of the state is to protect a "culture"? For a "culture" you can of course sacrifice millions because of the other millions remaining in the "history" (more like
hystery if you ask me).
The state is a totally heartless machine made to believe the violence can be "noble" and "just" (it's a "democrazation" of "aristocracy" and not in the literal meaning but in the vulgar one, being better.....in killing "enemies").
