Of course the other big news today was that the woman that accused Biden of sexual assault just defected to Russia. I mean, even for a person that's drunk the kook kool aide, that should still appear like a pretty big red flag to any respectable red blooded American.

I mean, for Snowden, it made sense since there really was a warrant out for his arrest, and a lot of countries have extradition treaties with the USA, so if you're running away, you want to go somewhere it's unlikely you'll be extradited from. Plus, that was in 2013, before Putin annexed big chunks of Ukraine and his international reputation took a big dive.
But now ... to "flee" to Russia on some hypothetical "they're going to get me" basis. I mean ... plenty of women have come forward with allegations against political figures in the USA. None of them have been "gotten" or disappeared to my knowledge. Sure, it can hurt their reputation, but they're not
falling out of windows. She's more likely to "fall out a window" later on in Russia once her propaganda value dries up.

I've come across a few of those over the years, and the thing that turned them off being a liberal never makes a damn lick of sense to where they ended up.
For Snowden, it made some sense since that was back in 2013 (before the first Ukraine annexations) and he had arrest warrants out for him, so he fled to Russia. I still think he's been compromised because of that, but the circumstances make a little sense.
But ... this nut is doing it right in the middle of the Ukraine war, and she doesn't even have any reasonable expectation of anything bad happening to her. People who make allegations in the USA don't "fall out of a window", it's just not a thing that really happens. She's more likely to "fall out a window" in Russia once she's served her propaganda purpose and they realize she's some kind of liability to have around.

Snowden didn't really have a choice. He was on his way to Latin America when the US decided to revoke his passport mid-flight, trapping him in Moscow.

I doubt this is a defection. I predict she'll do the circuit of alt-right news networks for as long as there's interest, and then quietly return after the election. She'll be getting paid for her story, which I believe was her aim all along.
