Running UU1/UU2 with Win95/98

Has anyone gotten these games to run reliably under Win 95/98? I've gotten both of them to run for awhile, but they crash out a little while into the game. Usually as I go to talk to someone.

I wouldn't mind using MS-DOS mode, but I'm not sure what to do for sound - what do I do for DOS sound card drivers for a computer or card that doesn't have DOS drivers?

I'd love to be able to play these games again all the way through, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Psolokai, you can try and search the internet for the Dos drivers for your soundcard. If you know which type of soundcard you have, you can always start at the manufacturer's own website

If you can't find any Dos drivers, you can always put a music CD and listen to your favourite music while playing

If you are really serious about playing UW games in Windows, then buy the Interplay Ultimate RPG archives. The UW installs off of that CD pack run very well under windows.

I agree. I have the RPG Archives myself, I can certainly recommend it
