I've managed to run Thief 2 (Newdark) using Crossover, and it works fine. Using WINE, which Crossover is based on, should work as well. FM selector I have no idea how to start. Dromed starts, but opening a .mis file or switching to game mode just freezes the thing.
So my question is: has someone successfully managed to get Dromed running on OSX, preferably without having to use Bootcamp or full virtualization software like Parallels?

Sorry, I can't actually offer help to your question. But I'm curious- what kind of battery life do you get using crossover?
I have a 2009 17" MacBook Pro with a Bootcamp windows partition. When I boot in OSX, I get 6-8 hours of battery if I'm just browsing the web, etc... and like 3-4 if I'm playing games (Portal 2, starcraft, etc...)
If I boot in Vista I get 2-3 hours if just surfing the web. and I'm lucky if I get 45 mins of Thief without plugging in.
When you run in crossover, do you get OSX type battery life? Or windows type battery life? (Or somewhere in between?)

I'm using an Imac, so no battery.
