I've just been through a lot of file passing to a friend and thought I'd share this with everyone:
You can run FM .ibt files from a shortcut to the main (non-editor) game if you also have the T3.exe from the editor, otherwise the game will just go to the main menu or crash right out.

I guess this means that packaged FMs must include the editor T3.exe as well as all the mission files.

I thought this was already common knowledge?
I imagine the best thing would be to package the newest T3.exe with the Darkloader-type program for Thief 3.

Good point. That is way more efficient than packaging a redundant file in every FM.

Yes that would make more sense. Hopefully I'll get time to finish up FleshLoader. I've been swarmed with projects recently and havent had any time for myself :(
