I am working my way through the pipes after the water tunnels...
[SPOILER]I have gone through the pipe to the left -- the one near the corpse. I have gotten into the purple tunnel to the right by carrying the two crates from the pipe I swam out of, but nothing is up there. After swimming through another tunnel, I climb a ladder and end up basically nowhere -- place with the well I climbed out of and a tree. Am I supposed to activate the fire lock first or something?[/SPOILER]
What did I miss?

In words of one syllable, what is the way into the Monestary and is there any reason to go into the gap and red water? HELP PLEASE!!!!

[SPOILER]I have achieved all the missions in part 1 and am now under the earth near a toxic pool and four pipes with grates. I have roped up into one of the pipes, opened the grate but cannot proceed into the red area due to a high shelf in that pipe. Am I missing something?[/SPOILER]

1. Playing on expert, got all the objectives (except the way into the monastery), 4 secrets but missing about 1200 loot! Must have missed some important areas (was in the grave area, searched everywhere). Where is the loot?
2. Is there a possibility to reach the long ladder which leads high up (in the place with a pipe and two crates, you get into from the long underwater tunnel)?

The ladder has no discernible purpose . I'm not sure why some authors turn otherwise excellent missions into exercises in extreme tedium searching for some obscure object . I'm sure any wise thief would want to grab most of the loot and haul ass .

To find a cave you have to do some rock climbing [SPOILER]and bone digging[/SPOILER] . Not sure what you mean about the vault unless [SPOILER]it's the stash in the main building behind the banner or the pirates booty behind the pirate building ( simply rope arrow up and over ) . [/SPOILER]
