Yes, it's the second part.
It's the garden which you enter from the lobby with the staircase. There're some doors to the Store, the mess and the kitchen. The other door goes to a small corridor and than out into the garden. On your right is the door to the H2O service room. The garden has a lot of hedges with "doors" cut into them.
In one part of this garden there's this big [SPOILER]gravetomb or crypt, I don't know how other to call it. You have to frob the right side of it, down below and then the tomb will go aside. You can't see the lever actually. I just accidently found it, because Mary send me in that direction.[/SPOILER]
But I can't get low enough into the water to swim further.

Gloria I think that you've accidentally found a way to open that from the wrong side. If you get into it from the other end, it's a "found secret" but it isn't anything special, just a way back to the garden, at least that I could tell. You won't be able to find the other end of it until after you've been into the Drawing room which is a good deal of the way through the mission.

I need that walkthrough, this mission is huge and requires a good save-game strategy. I haven't finished the first part, because I keep going places that I wasn't meant to go.
I found the edge of the world near the start point, by going through the locked gate after coming up the sewer ladder. It seemed easier to go that way past one guard than getting by all the guards in the other direction. :o
Later, I climbed to the monastery roof (where there is the archer who crashes the game if you pick him up then drop him) and found three doors, behind which were an empty room, a blue "edge of the world" wall, and another empty room with some cool wall decorations. This third room can be reached with some climbing but then can't be escaped because the door is unpickable. :erg: Never mind that it's really hard to get off that roof safely, or the rope work to reach the high wooden beams in the tower to find...nothing. :(
I'm not trying to go places the author didn't intend, those are just the places that looked like the right way to go.

Yes, I was speaking about the monastery roof in the first part. I am now replaying from an earlier save and found a different way in.
