I have to say I've been playing this mission set, and it's got a lot going for it. I made it halfway through Part II but had to give up, at least for now... I got tired of crashing to desktop when I went to move a body. I'd love to replay from the start if a fixed version is ever released, or I find myself feeling particularly patient... there are alot of really nice things about it so far, in spite of the bugs. It's too bad it wasn't tested more before being released...

Many thanks Shadows.
Just one more thing before I slink back into the shadows,
having trouble getting out of the well. Is there a trick to this or something
Yandros, you are right about the crashing to desktop.I am playing easy and thats hard enough! So far have'nt moved any bodies as it is liable to crash.
OK done it.
The trick is to toss the skull out and then you can move more quickly. Obvious really,
Dumber than usual today. :o

I didn't have a problem climbing up the ladder to get out of the Well of Oblivion (which is referenced by some other name in a scroll or book in the mission). Or did you mean that you could not get out fast enough to avoid the fireballs? You can turn those off.
glwhalen on 15/7/2005 at 23:45
So how do you turn off
those fireballs in the Well of Oblivion?
bob_doe_nz on 16/7/2005 at 01:04
I didnt. I just climbed up the ladder and didnt look back until I was home free

Jupiter2k,
You can't get into the monastery that way ....
Head back to the courtyard where the armory building was. You'll find an area boarded off with a trapdoor set into the groud. If you have finished all of your objectives then you should have come across a key for that door labled "trapdoor over gap".
Use that on the lock near the trapdoor and then pull the lever to open the door.
Jump down into the water and you'll enter the underground streams. This is where you continue your mission ....
I have the
trap[door key
You mean the red lever that pull will sound off the alarm, and the trap door there i.e the sign with "STOP"
yes I am there but the door is not highlighted?
so I can't used it?
or wrong area?

The way I did it is
pick up all the stuff at the bottom including the skull, go up the ladder near to the top. Toss the skull out as it is very heavy and then run for it. Once out of the well pick up the discarded skull again. I placed the first skull somewhere where I could find it again.

Does anyone know where the horn is.
marycwmbach - It's at the top of the tower. You get in through the Gallery. If you haven't found the key to that yet, it's on top of one of the animal heads that are mounted on the wall in the bedroom past the barracks that open off of the storeroom with the trap door to the roof.
