If you crouch or stand up, the lever will briefly light up... if you frob at just the right moment, you will raise the gate to cover the open doorway you can see. But that is exactly the gate that was blocking your path under the building, so now you can crawl under and enter the tower.However, I can't understand what I'm supposed to do in the tower. climb down the rope (attached to a sword) to the lower level. From there, I can see a disk. I read uptopic that I was supposed to
shoot some sort of arrow over there, but I don't know which one -- and none seems to do anything, anyway.
I'll try reading uptopic again, but I'm sure not getting this.

Include me on the list of expert loot failures for parts 1 and 2, too (747 short for part 1, just under 1000 for part 2). Sheesh, I had a serious love/hate relationship with these missions. Just as many, "Wow, how totally COOL!!!" moments as, "DAMN, How completely FRUSTRATING!!" moments. Without a doubt, a phenomenal accomplishment though, and must congratulate the author on a most engrossing mission pack. :thumb:
Part 2 was the hardest by far, IMO. A few questions about it, in case anyone might have the answer(s):
There were two areas I couldn't get into or find a key for. The tower (across the outdoor wooden walkway), and the metal door on the second floor which has a strange looking mural to the left of it and 3 breakable windows to its right.
Also, I found (purely by chance) the [SPOILER]gallery key[/SPOILER], but was not able to find a door it unlocked. I assumed it was the aforementioned metal door, but it didn't work there.
I may give it another go if these questions can be answered. Anyone? :)

I can't wait until tonight so I can try your suggestions (at work now, and boss frowns on gaming, but we're trying to change her mind about that :) ).
Major "DOH!" for not trying the [SPOILER]gallery key on the tower.[/SPOILER] Can't believe I didn't try that! It was the last thing I found before giving up on loot and heading to the gorge.
I did find the [SPOILER]tunnel from the archives, so it's possible I have been in the room with the weird door then. [/SPOILER] But, I can't recall right now. I'll check it out tonight.
