Stayed up till 3.30 watching Fiji and Japan fight it out, it was an awesome game. Japan's forwards really impressed me for such a small team they really recycled the ball beautifully, and their pick and drive was something to behold. The best match so far without a doubt.

Actually, I'm a bit torn. On one hand I'd like us to win, on the other I find the 'sky is falling' over reactions when we lose highly amusing.
I'll say! I was watching the semi-final with friends, the one where we played France and choked in the second half. When the game was finished and it cut back to the studio it looked like Grant Fox had been or was about to cry. I burst out laughing and got alot of dirty looks from my mates! Man the whole country was depressed for days :laff:

Where's the comedy "Canada" choice in this here poll?

Sorry, Scotland is the comedy option in every sporting event under the sun.

Except haggis eating and kilt lifting :D

To be fair, Haggis Eating is more like a wacky Japanese Endurance Show than a sport and Kilt-Lifting is just a part of the regular Friday night routine.

Yeow watched the Japan vs Aus. I knew Australia was good but I didn't think they'd score a stunning 91 points against the Japanese. ftw.
U.S lost to Tonga..25-15

How about Scotland beating France in the (OT)Euro gualifiers then? That has to be the best upset of the qualifiers so far. Scotland looks to be in pretty good shape to advance in the football anyway. France beaten twice, mission accomplished. France isn't having the greatest week in their sporting history, beaten by Argie rugby wc and Scotland in the Euro qualifiers. McFadden's goal was quality btw

That was the most dismal England performance I've ever not seen. Pathetic. 36-0.

When you compare how rusty Australia was in attack (lots of dropped passes) to how slick New Zealand was against a far better opponent in Italy, things are not looking so great for us.
Now we have lost Larkham for about 3 weeks to surgery (man he breaks easily) so Wales should actually be a really good test for us.
