I have two probably related issues.
The first and one that concerns me, is that my D3D 7 doesn't work right. On Thief I get some odd texture glitches now and then, Clive Barker's Undying has unreadable text and journals, and dxdiag shows the D3D 7 test as a box with a scrambled green texture on it. I'm not sure what else is affected yet...
Ati's site is of no help at all, and I can't figure out what the issue is. D3D 8 and 9 work fine, and no other dxdiag tests report any issues. Even the D3D 7 says its ok, but it isn't... Help!!!
I'd update my drivers but the ati installer craps out on me when it goes to install catalyst control center, and I have to uninstall the whole lot, mess with the registry, and reinstall my old drivers before it all works again...
Anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this?
