Unbelievable!
I just have a question, because when you released Dark Mod, I remember because it was my birthday :) I was not in the proper place in life to get to play it properly. Yet, I *did* still have my 2001 Wizardry VIII computer, souped up as far as it could go, and went so far as to for the first time actually get on Steam I think it was, buy Doom3 of all things, and got Dark Mod up and running. I couldnt play very far into it, and it was painful at best, but I did get to step into that world. It was awesome. I have watched everything since that I have been lucky enough to find on 'ol youtube. The question: Does this mean that we can just go to Dark Mod website and download the whole thing, install it, and play without going through Steam or anywhere else?!

Rope arrows longer and for more considered planning, claw for quick grapples and getting to less high places that are only just out of reach?

Pretty nifty, eh, GD? TDM runs on this laptop much better than the last one, too.

Son of a motherless goat? AND WHO ARE YOU?

Of course. Well, for whatever it is worth, my friend, I *was* going to put (The Three Amigos) after the post.

So wherever there is injustice, we'll find you? Wherever there is suffering, you'll be there? Where...

Hope so.

That review (which obviously comes from a guy who knows his Thief) actually gives me hope and makes me crave a working demo like it was Nutella.
They only must needs add actual steampunk, lore-specific locations and quarters, "taffer" and Stephen Russel's Garrett, Barney and other assorted guards to complete the picture.
Hell, even Focus doesn't sound bad when he's describing it. Avoiding "oh shit!" moments and performing acts of nigh-on-impossible thievery sounds a lot better than doing (

I am a bit wary of the automatic assisting the game will provide for mantling and jumping. I want to fall to my doom over one wrong step or because I pressed jump too early.
