It's only been 12 years later, too. Felt like at least 18.
I'll get it, but I'm in no hurry to because I have a lot of instant classic horror titles to get through already, but this one riffing on Alien: Isolation always put it on my radar as something extra good. It's been reviewing well, I hope it's really successful for the team.

I played for a tiny bit last night. It's very puzzle centric so far, didn't expect that, but I've really just scratched the surface. Haven't actually run into any AI yet.

I have it installed but haven't fired it up yet. If it ends up being like SOMA but with an actual game in there somewhere I'll be very happy. I haven't played Bunker yet, which sounds like a return to form, but I kinda miss the Penumbra era of Frictional where there was a game buried in the atmosphere/horror. Even if it's just solving puzzles that sounds like a good time to me. And if it's 4-5 hours long as reviews indicate, then it's actually a proper length for this type of thing as opposed to Isolation which imo suffered from being at least twice as long as it needed to be. It's weird that Portal was such a massive success and there are still people out there who rate games based on how long they are instead of how dense they are.

The first passcode isn't 0451 or 4510. Worst game ever.
