Right, early in the game (very early, actually), I found the mace, Rockshatter. When you find it, a quest starts to find Maeva. Anyone know where she might be found? I've had this quest for ridiculously long, and I've seen no sign of her.

She's in a farm just outside of Anvil, on the road. Called Whitmond or something. If you haven't already found Rockshatterer I think she sends you off to get it.
Bear in mind, talking to her about it means you just give it to her (although you get some gold as a reward). I wasn't too impressed by this, so stole her key while she was farming (she equipped the mace so it wasn't pinchable). Then when she went to sleep, I broke into her house and took back my funky mace.
:D

There is if you're level 3 and it's the first enchanted weapon you found on a mob :p
Fencing it fetched a pretty penny.

Stop saying that. It sounds gay as hell. This is not an MMORPG.

I recieved this quest at level 10. Seems at higher levels the NPCs are harder which also means they have better armor. I found a Cuirass of Pain Resistance with a 9 defense. Also Elvan Cuirass. A Frozen Shield with an 11 Defense and also a Dwarven, Elven longswords and a Dwarven claymore. All of which were better bounty then that lame mace. I suggest waiting to reap the best. =)

The wonderfully angelic RAI broke my quest (I'm not really mad though, I'm glad RAI is doing its job).
I talked to the woman first and got the quest. About ten real-time minutes into it I got a notice telling me the woman was DEAD. Her husband hadn't killed her because he was in plain sight. Since then I've been carrying around this blasted mace everywhere.
