Gunslinger Girl was a complete waste of time. They somehow managed to make every episode feel like a setup for something more interesting that ended up never coming.

Yes, I had heard some negative stuff about it, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway, assuming I can stream it legally. I tend to like a lot of stuff that others roll their eyes and shake their heads at, so we'll see.

I thought it was decent.
[edit] ZB may want to look into Season 2 of GSG. While it lacks a lot of what made season 1 awesome and doesn't really start to pick up until about halfway through the season, it does have something that was otherwise missing: a coherent and strong plotline. Season 1 was based on what's essentially an introductory volume in the manga; they could've covered that in 2 episodes instead of 13.

While I agree with that to a certain degree - I think the main plot in Gunslinger Girl is about the individual fratello relationship (and comparing them). The only reason season 2 had a strong plot line was because it happened to fall on a volume which focused heavily on Triela.
It's a very character based series. That's how the manga is as well (Though I've only read up to volume 6.).

Editing other peoples' posts (and not even bothering to say fix'd) doesn't make you clever, Koki. You're not even trying lately.

:laff:
It would be so awesome if that actually existed.
