Is there any way (like some program/editor) to rip the music/conversations of DX:IW into something more readable directly (e.g. mp3)?

Sorry about the late reply. The DX Sound Drone was created for this purpose, and you can download it (
http://members.home.nl/m.r.visser/DXIW_Sound_Drone_v1.0_BETA.exe) here (direct link). Install it and launch it, then sort the list by file size. The music files are generally the largest ones, and the names are self-explanatory for the most part. If you spend some time digging through you can hear a bunch of stuff that never made it into the final game too.
