Oh. That was unexpected. He was so young. At first, I didn't quite believe it, but wikipedia verified it. Such a shame. :(

He didn't reveal he had cancer. Just got on with it. Used to visit children with cancer all through this too. What a guy.

People did not forget Blade. But Black Panther was almost infinitely more successful, and Boseman was more expressive than Snipes.
I quite liked Blade, the three movies I saw, and the lesser TV spin-off with a different actor. But it was no Black Panther.
