I haven't seen this bug mentioned anywhere, so forgive me if it's old news. I'm playing through Arx a second time with a thief character and I accidently found an infinite XP bug. Just to see what would happen, when fighting the demon guarding the meteor I fired some poision arrows at the rebel leader (I can't remember her name) to see if she would die. After a couple of hits, she stood up but stayed on the altar and I got a steady stream of XP. Once the poison wore off, the stream stopped, but when I poisoned her again, the stream started up again. I got bored when I broke 450,000XP. I've repeated this several times with posion arrows, but it may also work with poisoned blades. This doesn't seem to affect main quest (except for the fact that she's green in the following cutscene), but I haven't tried meeting her on level 4 following her "rescue."
What a strange bug. I guess nobody expected a player to try killing the woman they were trying to save. :D

Another infinite XP bug is in the snake women temple. just after the switch puzzle. You just need to stand in the middle of the hallway then turn 90 degrees to your left and strafe right just untill you can see the ghost at the end of the hallway. Then just pull out you bow and fire an arrow, and then check you stats. You should see your XP quickly going up. Make sure you have poisoned your arrows first. This also works with the long path a little farther into the temple. Once your XP is where you want it, all you have to do is stop it. I forgot how to stop it tho, I need to replay Arx and check it. I think it's you move or put your weapon away or something like that.

I found another one. When you have queen's murder evidences, you can show the book to Enoil and each time you show him, you get 1250 XP. :ebil:
