On the subject of the Rick I'd like to know if anybody'd made any fan art of the ship itself or a map of the intirrior layout.

Speaking of the 6 subdecks ..
Wouldn't an .. explosion .. would have caused some major damage on the VB, too? Especialy if the reactor+fuel storage+what not blew up?
Those 6 subdecks were located in the lower parts of the Rickenbacker, so it's somewhat safe to say that the upper decks of the VB would become hostile towards the shockwave, the fire, the debris ..
Also, did someone else wonder that there are windows in the umbillical-room on the Rickenbacker from where you normaly should see the gigantic VB below, but you see .. well, nothing?

Time/performance reasons I guess. Probably the same reason you don't see the back of the Rickenbacker from the Von Braun bridge.

So the rick had no reactor, no crew quarters, no cargo bay of any sort, and those six subdecks were pure decoration. I'm tempted to say wrong guess.
Have you heard about the power of prayer!
Why do you think it had such a large chappel

Oh the atmosphere is great. It's just a shame that not one shred of logic went into the design of anything on the Rick, except maybe the bridge.
You start with a "cargo bay" with no visible cargo-sized exits. Then there's a chapel that's only accessible through a maintenance shaft, a surgical bay that's only accessible by climbing down a ladder, and nuclear warhead storage in the middle of a hallway.
Rofl, I dunno whether it was the way you said it or just what you said, but I swear that's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

After installing SS2 I went looking first in the cd files with reshack then in the windows temp directory for the pictures shown during the install(after all they have to be stowed SOMEWHERE) and, to my supprize, in addition to the images you see during the install there were...a couple other images. The sticfigure comic thing being one(and probably part of an error screen that would be thrown up if something's wrong during the install).

Well if that was thrown up as an error message, I think the team would have managed to best "Salt the fries" ;)
William Dojinn on 5/5/2006 at 22:40
Hey beats me man, just tossin out suggestions. That and wasn't 'salt the fries' a looking glass specific message?

Okay.....see, I saw the install pictures before in the same place, but I don't remember the stick figure. I'll have to look again. Thanks!
