What shall we use to fill the empty spaces...
:( That came as a shock. One of my favorite bands--truly sad.
(For some reason it reminds me of when Graham Chapman died unexpectedly, way back in the day)

All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel.
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save.
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy,
beg, borrow or steal.
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say.
All that you eat
And everyone you meet
All that you slight
And everyone you fight.
All that is now
All that is gone
All that's to come
and everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

I had that put on my Sr. high school year book page. (Yeah...had 9 in my graduating class...small school it was.)

The first song to come up on my media player after reading the news last night was his song "Stay" from Obscured by Clouds. Out of 2,000 songs, that one cued up. What are the odds?
Fuck, so it starts. It feels awful to know that your icons are beginning to pass away. I enjoyed watching him have a renaissance of sorts playing in David Gilmour's band. He looked genuinely happy performing the last few years.
Thank you, Rick.
Stay, and help me to end the day...

Oh, man. I wasn't an awfully big fan of some of his over-indulgent keyboard work, but there's no doubt that he was instrumental in shaping the Floyd sound.
At least we still have David Gilmour and that steely eyed fuck Waters (his Rogness!). Once they pop it, there truly will be no going back. :(
