Ok, soldiers, I have a question for those specializing in sound bugs fixing. Everytime when I enter the game I have to go to sound options and click "Reversed Stereo", because by default I hear sounds from the left side in my right earphone and vice versa. And this option ("Reversed Stereo") doesn't save when I leave the game and launch it again.
How can I fix it?

Check your install folder for any write-protected files.
If that doesn't work, stop putting your headphones on backwards.

Are you referring to SYSTEM SHOCK or SYSTEM SHOCK 2?
If the original SYSTEM SHOCK the Audio/Audio Options/Stereo/[Normal\Reversed] selection must be used everytime a SoundBlaster is used as the digital sound card. The Creative Labs DOS era SBPro (1/2) and SB16 sound-cards ate the first stereo stream byte sent, so that there was a Stereo Left/Right swap. The answer was to send a garbage byte first, or to implement a Stereo Left/Right Reversal in-game. Unfortunately, the in-game Stereo Reversal is not saved in the SYSTEM SHOCK SaveGame file-structure and must be manually selected each time.

Thanks for answering but I found out that when my headphones were on repair, those dummies mixed up sound channels. That is the reason of "reversed sound" :) Sorry for bothering ...
