Blaydes99, thank you very much for this great FM! It's truly immersive. I specially liked outdoor areas.
Though I got a problem with the respawn. Well not exactly with respawn rate but spawned creatures keep running to me like if they new my exact location. Is it supposed to be this way? I made it to Gallo and there it't just too much!

I held off playing this for a long time, because I wanted to wait for the next version. But finally I couldn't wait any longer. :D
I just wanted to congratulate blaydes99 for this FM . . . it rocks. The
barracks on the Gallo were creepy as hell! Seeing the furniture move by itself, and all that noise, truly freaked me out. Mission accomplished! :thumb:
Oh, and when you have to
kill the Psi Reavers on the Bridge . . . very sneaky how you hid that third brain off in the corner. I thought I'd taken care of them all, but then another Psi Reaver materialized and it was like . . . what the hell?! Again, that freaked me out. Nice work scaring the crap out of me. :laff:
I do have some minor quibbles though (sorry!).
Like a few others, I thought the noise from the shuttle passing overhead at the beginning, made it hard to hear the log entries. If the frequency of the shuttle sound occurring was reduced, it would help a lot.
I thought the
respawn rate on the B deck of the Gallo, was a bit excessive. There was a constant stream of Hybrids and Midwives attacking me, which made it really difficult to stay alive. Especially when I had to enter the room filled with radiation. Getting pounded while being poisoned by radiation wasn't fun. I don't think I've ever used the wrench so much! :D
Also, the ending where you
get killed was very cool, but the "proper" ending was kind of a let down. Because just when you think there's more, you realize it's over.
I mean, talk about cruel! :cheeky:

:wot: There's a third one? No wonder the Psi Reaver wouldn't die.....Quote Posted by redrain85

I agree, although it was kind of funny the first time. I was listening to the Captain's e-mail, and right when he started telling me what to do, the shuttle flew over. I actually thought that was on the recording, put in to frustrate you because you didn't know what to do.

Hmm. I didn't have a problem there. The Assassin deck, however..... Enchantermon

I'm glad that you guys liked it. Remember that you not only hear the shuttle flying over, but look up and you can see it fly over you also!
I was trying to get a mix of frantic survival gameplay along with a difficulty that would keep you on the move. I think that it succeeds in keeping you moving from place to place quickly, looking for a safe place to play the gamepig... but I understand that some players can't handle the tougher monsters later in the game. Don't forget to use your grenade launcher and psi skills, they will help give you the edge.
The ending was fun to make because you feel like you are on a different ship but then once you get out of your quarters ... the next missions that I've started are reeeaaaalllyy cool, but I'm just not finding time to work on them. Stay tuned though - at least you have 6 missions to play for now!

Well, that might be part of the problem. I wasn't trying to go melee-only, but I also didn't think to use either the grenade launcher or psi skills, as I never use either in a regular SS2 game. I'll have to try it with those next time.

Hey don't get mad... I decided to make the 1.1 update to include the new levels and stuff also, so that's why you haven't seen it yet.
On that note, I apologize for not getting the log portraits in the current release - you guys really helped a lot and you deserve some credit!

Hey, relax, I'm not mad. ;) I was just curious. :erm:
Ah, so it's going to be quite a while before we see them yet, eh? Will you be reusing voice actors from the previous missions?

If I'll be lucky, you'll have a new Laser Rifle model ready for v1.1...
Here's the sketch, done by a friend of mine:
