Wha? The desks actually MOVED? Damn, I have to check that out. :D
TheNightTerror on 12/6/2005 at 02:09
The furniture moved, anyway. After I realized it was pushing me around, I didn't hang around long.

What wierded me out, and i'd give everyone a screenshot if i knew how, was the chair that was on the cieling that was slowly rotating.
I say leave those little tricks in just to screw with everyone's head. Trust me, its good to keep people wondering if they've lost their minds.
TheNightTerror on 12/6/2005 at 03:23
I don't see why he'd remove them. It's just a matter of stopping the whispers from following you around. I didn't notice the chair . . . I rarely look up, but yikes . . . that's definitely a spooky one. :erm:

What you guys need to do is look out the windows of the bathroom and the room with the evil moving desks to see if anything is out there!
BTW, the bugs that are popping up are valid so I'll get to fixing them. Thanks everyone for having fun while you play through it! I just played through it last night and I did okay. I never saw 15 assassins on Deck C but I was running most of the time. It's too tough so I'll be sure to tone it down.
Has anyone figured out how to get the alternate ending? Hmmm?
TheNightTerror on 12/6/2005 at 05:11
The alternate ending? Simple. Don't visit the bridge.;)

Great work Blaydes, will be nice to hear if the log-sound editing turned out alright in-game.. Damn, so many games to play, UNN Expansion, GTA:SA and possibly Vamp Bloodlines (new unoffical patch out) :D
William Dojinn on 12/6/2005 at 07:27
I got the alt ending, was absolutly floored by the work you put into the thing too.
:thumb:
As a side note there's a door you go through in one of the endings(will not say more) that basicly auto kills you. How far's everybody managed to jump before getting offed?

You could add 4 wrenches near the start, for multiplayer. Otherwise the other players just stand around and can't do much.

I haven't played too far yet but I really like what I've seen. I love the sound of the tram going by right at the beginning and the room-design in the corridors before the shuttle bay with the scyscrapers towering above me is just stunning.
But I don't see why some of the monsters seem to be deaf...? There is this hippie-midwife right before an elevator. I've sneaked past her back, then run by her and finally I jumped up and down right in her back. And all she does is tend to some flowers... :cheeky:
Someone mentioned that monsters only react when you are right in their view. I can't say if this is true for all of them but at least some have serious attention problems.
Also, I think I haven't seen a single hybrid or midwife do the search-mode which is kinda odd and fits the previous statement. (edit: strike that, a spawned hybrid just searched for me)
I still have to play a lot of the missions but generally it's very fun to play and it looks really great. Thanks for a lot of fun, Blaydes!
