Hello, I'm pretty much brand new to Morrowind, but I have been playing nonstop for the past week. I've been experimenting with enchanting, and I've been trying to find a Spellseller that sells a RESTORE Magicka spell, to use with a Golden Saint soul, so I can have a constant mana regen item.
NOT a fortify magicka, or anything like that. I am pretty sure the spell exists, as it is in the Construction Set as an effect (Restore Magicka) but I cannot locate any spell that has it, at least in Vivec, Balmora, Ald'Ruhn, Caldera, any of the cheesey fishing towns along the coast, Gnisis, etc.
At this point, I'd even take a NAME of a spell that restores magicka, and I'd console it in to my character. It seems like it'd make such a great item, if the spell could be found.
Along similiar lines, an Absorb Magicka spell seller would be nice too. :D

You can't buy one - it'd be too unbalancing (plus silly when not enchanted :)). It's technically possible to make a plugin to allow you to do it, but it'd make an already easy game even easier. If you've seen it in the editor why do we need to tell you the name so that you could add it using the console?
If you want that sort of thing, you could download a plugin that regenerates a small amount of magicka every second, based on your willpower....
I've had a poke around the editor and the only person I can see who might sell an absorb magicka spell is Senyndie in the Vivec Arena Fighters' Quarters.

I didn't see a spell that actually did it, it was one of the Spell Effects. I'm guessing you can only get it from Alchemy, maybe?
And I asked for the spell name, since after 2 minutes of attempting to use the Construction Set, it crashed my computer, and I had to reinstall morrowind. :/
Anyway, thanks, and sorry about posting in two forums, but I didn't realize there was a Hint forum at first.
and yeah, it's probably unbalancing, in fact it's sure to be unbalancing, but it'd be so cool on a cuirass or something as an effect.
