i have played morrowind for quite a time now, but i have 1 problem:
whenever i become ability score drained i always have to go and buy a restore ability score potion. is there an easier way to restore??

You could learn the spells that do the job. And Imperial Cult altars are supposed to restore depleted attributes (not skills), but they don't seem to, even though it was meant to be fixed in a patch. Or have I got this horribly wrong? Someone will know.

you only need it for one attribute then you can make custom spells for the other attributes.

There shouldn't be anything in the game to permanently lower a skill. With one of the patches they fixed Fury so that, once you equip it and re-equip it, your skills are restored.

But as for the Imperial Altar thing... no clue. AFAIK they don't, but I've never taken the time to use them.

I've used the Imperial Cult alter and had it restore my attributes before (and I'm running the XBox version so I've got about the most un-patched version you can find :cheeky: )

If I remember correctly I had to pay to use it (might be free to cult members, don't know, haven't played yet).

The restore spells are better, all you have to do is rest to use them (unless you get stuck with a 0 strenth in a dungeon that gives you the message "you can't rest, enemies are nearby")

Imperial Altar's restore attributes, but Fury affects your skills (light armor, medium armor, heavy armor, etc.) We're wondering if the altars restore those :cheeky:
