Hi I was hoping for more help plz :)
I went to Balmora (for the first time) and got a place at the inn near the entrance. I got a room for 10 GP and went in (it was level 50 locked before I paid for it) but when I try to rest it says that resting here is illegal. Why can't I rest for healing there? :confused:

I am assuming you went to the council club. For some reason it has the beds in inns generally counts as owned but if you close the door before you rest then no one will mind.

I tried closing the door and that didn't help. Also I went to Caius Cosades' house and he said I could rest there but the game says it is illegal to rest there too.

Make sure you're activating the bed and not just pressing the rest button (T, I think it is).
