I started a new game, not from the main menu, but from the 'Escape' menu during game play. I loaded up my quicksave, played for a bit, then hit escape and new game. I don't think I've ever started a new game like that before, and I had a weird bug. In the new game, I had the same inventory and the same amount of ammo as before I restarted. Meaning I got to play Liberty Island with a sniper rifle and lots of ammo. Has anyone encountered this before? I don't usually cheat, but this is too much fun to pass up.
