Is there a known limit to the resolution allowed by DDFix or by the Widescreen Patch?
I'm able to get 1920x1200 and even 2048x1536 (4:3) to work without any issue, but 2560x1600 always kicks back an error: Your video hardware is not supported by System Shock 2.
I've done some searching on the forums and I've seen people generate some very large horizontal resolutions (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121240&p=1882973&viewfull=1#post1882973) (triple monitor), but I've never seen anyone detail having their vertical resolution exceed 1536.

DarkWidescreen does not place any arbitrary limitations. The theoretical upper limit is 65535x65535 due to 16bit integers. Some internal variables of the game might overflow much much earlier, though. As far as I know noone has ever explored the practical upper limit. However 2560x1600 is definitively (
http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/922/2560x1600widescreenddfi.png) possible. Can't really help you there except to tell you to make sure that 2560x1600x16 (and if you're using DDfix probably x32, too) is correctly enumerated by your video-card/driver/operating-system.
