*** Spoilers afoot ***
This will need a bit of a rambling set-up: Ok, so I'm playing the game through for the second time, trying to find stuff I missed, or new ways of doing things. But I messed up and need to travel back in time, as it were.
I'm completing all the Fighters Guild tasks, and was just about to receive the instructions from Eliena Stout-Pants (or whoever the Balmora Steward is) to kill the Customs woman in Sedya Neen (at least, if memory serves, that's her next job for me). And I'm very curious to get the job, and then take my concerns to Percius at Ald'Ruhn. Last time through, I killed her, and then in a later conversation with Percius, clicked on her name. He said, "She did nothing wrong. She didn't need to die." Which strikes me that if I took my concerns to him after I was given the job, but before disposing of her, Percius would have said, "Don't do it" or words to that effect. And I'm really curious to see what that dialogue would be like.
BUT (still with me?) unfortunately, I've already taken the job from Percius to kill Eliena Squat-Bottom, so the second she sees me when I ask for a new job (the Sedya Neen job), she cries havoc and we go to battle. And since I mainly use Quicksave, and I've already saved AFTER being given the Kill Eliena job by Percius, and my last real Savegame would make me a feeble n00b, I can't just reload. And I already tried doing the "sneak up real close and engage them in conversation before they ever see you and persuade the heck out of them" trick that you can use with smugglers and necromancers and other people who want to kill you on sight. That one of my favorite little exploits in the game - getting a whole cave of smugglers to love you, seemingly against their better judgement. Anyway, that didn't work either with Eliena. Even with 110% Chameleon, she still challenged me when I came within range. I can't figure out what to do.
SO (whew) is there any way that 1) someone could simply tell me what Percius says and does when I bring him a questionable task (so I don't have to go back and find out) or 2) tell me how I can reset the Percius's specific Fighter's Guild job to kill the 2 stewards, so I can move forward with Eliena Fussy-Britches without her trying to skewer me?
And yes, I Searched first. Didn't come up with anything applicable. I don't think "RA" would work in this instance.

Hmm... at a guess, you're mixing up NPCs. Eydis Fire-Eye is the Balmora FG, and Adraria Vandacia is the NPC that Percius says "Adraria committed no crime. There was no reason to kill her." about (the Vivec assistant FG leader [Lorbumol gro-Aglakh] sends you to kill her, and Percius suggests that you not; if you don't, all that happens is that Lorbumol won't give more missions)
As to getting more missions from Eydis, don't worry about it; if you're on Percius' fast-track-to-GM path then I doubt you need anything else from her. For what it's worth, I too wish she was better written, so she didn't go berserk on you when you'd already given her the bitter cup.

An idea......a bunch of TBM (Telvani Bug Musk) b4 talking to her, or just after she goes berserk anyway. I wonder if that might not 'soothe the savage breast'. Did wonders, for me at least, in dealing w/Sottilde early on.

Forsythe -
Again, you're right. I'm wrong (I'm should write a little script for that so I don't have to keep typing it.) I forgot that was the Orc that sent me on that quest.
Bah.
I just did the Venathi Gang (hiding in the little cave just SE of Peligrad... maybe that was her last one... I can only hope).
I'm just bummed I don't get to give her the Bitter Cup (because now I have very little motivation to track it down. Thanks again, Forsythe.

Trust me... go find it even if she can't use it; I suspect you'll find it useful ;) If I'm reading the script right, you should get your most important stat to 100 before you do (and, if possible, make sure it's the only one at 100). Yes, I'm being intentionally mysterious :cheeky:
Edit: Oh btw, jstnomega, this is just a scripted event (poorly, IMO); it wouldn't matter if you cast 'calm humanoid' on her, she'd still attack you when you spoke to her.

 I had no idea you could do that. I had to delete my best game because i had to steal the bolts of judgement, i got caught, they got taken off me, i forgot that happened. Then i saved it with quiksave, . I LOST MY GOOD GAME, i had done the quests for Tha sadith mora, balmora guilds, aswell as the vivec, balmora and wolverin hall mages guild, i was kicking my own ass:mad:
FOOTNOTE: try and post this earlier so i didnt have fo screw up.
Attributes apparently can't go above 100 base, Fortify is the only way of going past.
Forsythe, TY. & of course, script trumps even the best of magicka. That would splain some wasted effort.
JTHMZeroOne on 4/8/2002 at 17:15
The cup raises your best attribute to 100, and lowers your worst to 1 (I think) Drinking after you have a skill above 100 is a complete waist of time =P.

The problem that I'm realizing is, I've already accepted the order from Percius to kill the Vivcc Steward Orc as well - and I haven't gotten ANY jobs from him yet. I imagine he'll go ape-poopy on me in the same way Elina did.
I guess I'll have to remember, when playing through for a third time, to NOT accept the Percius fast-track killing jobs until I'm good and ready.
