Hey,
Just started up another Morrowind campaign after an extended furlough and I have made a grievous error. When talking to Taros Dral in the Morag Tong base I told him I was not interested in his "sensitive matters," which, now that I've researched it a bit, was an important quest resulting in a powerful item. Unfortunatley I no longer have the option to pick up that quest and I'm too far advanced to just start the game over. Is there some sort of fancy console command that can maybe reset his script so that I can have the choice again? 'Ppreciate the help, if there's any coming my way.

If you're a PC user I think there is a way to reset the script from the console.... I'm an XBox user so I don't have access to the console (otherwise I would have done the same thing)....
I had asked about this a month or so ago, did some searches, etc.

Hawk, sorry for the long delay in replying. [Morrowind crashed so hard to desktop a week ago that it hurt itself-just got the construction set working again.] I hope that you havent' done anything desperate.
Phil is right, you can fix it through the console, but only if you are playing on the PC. On the console, type:
SetJournalIndex, DA_Mephala, 0
This will reset the quest so Taros Dral will discuss 'sensitive matters' with you the next time you speak with him.
