Speaking of community contribution, it's not limited by content (FM etc), sorry for that soulless term. The community have it's own WAY OF APPROACH that hmm... extension too. And by words «it's own» I mean there is author's persona, it's owner behind it.
In simple words, there is very popular gamestyle which called GHOST. Legends say that Lytha, the legend herself, has invented that gamestyle.

@Brodo Swaggins
If you're still doing re-edits, can I recommend adding Christine Schneider's FMs to your article? She's a veteran of FM making and has done some of the best Village maps I have seen in Thief. I have not played every FM ever made by any means, but her map-making skills produced some of the coziest and fairy-tale-like villages I have seen in any video game.
And she mixes this child-like wonder with a much more serious mystery in FM campaigns like the Curse of the Falcon and The Night Falcon, where places like a Toy Shop (aptly named "Christine's Kinderland" in-game) and an abandoned castle both show extreme care in object and lighting placements to give the player the right feel when walking around.
Another amazing author is Sensut, who I think we can all safely call TTLG's virtual Castle Architect, not only we get Carpathian vampire stories done by someone who actually lives close to the area where the original vampire tales are supposed to take place (Hungary and Romania), but he also goes the extreme extra mile in providing us with castles based off real ones, not just on exterior, but interior design.
I honestly dare anyone to find me any game with a better and more realistically designed castle than the one in the Nosferatu series

I can't find a better in-game castle than the ones BR4ZIL mentioned, but there's a "rival", so to speak, of Sensut in terms of re-building real world buildings in DromEd. As far as I can tell,
Zontik has done great recreations of Castle Neuschwanstein (in
"King's Story") and of the main building(s) of Mont-Saint-Michel, the (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mont-Saint-Michel_Abbey) abbey, in the "
Patriot" campaign (Mission 7, I think). There are other real-world-recreations from him, AFAIK, but the ones I mentioned here impressed me most. When I watched a documentary of the real abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel some time ago, I could instantly say where almost every one of the rooms shown in the documentary was located (in "Patriot" at least).

How it's going?
Brodo Swaggins on 30/11/2023 at 14:17
It's going! Won't be running today on the anniversary itself, but it's coming together. Will be back here with more news once I've got it.
UPDATE: Now that the cat's out of the bag, the piece will heavily feature The Black Parade, which is why I couldn't share news about it until after it launched. Will post it here after it's published, likely next week!
(Also, I'm hoping to have a broader retrospective at another publication run a bit later, which would feature more of the great reflections and insights from the community y'all have shared with me. Thanks again to everyone who responded!)
