I think that the real signposts mod was made so long ago that since then the morrowind main file has changed. It's nothing serious. You can solve it by opening the mod in TES and then saving it.

I tried saving it in TES but I am such a noob with it. I opened something wrong and it gave a million errors so I just quit out of it. I think I want to use Mixed Signs anyway, but I couldn't find a download for it. I'll look again when I get a chance.
EDIT: Nevermind! I just found mixed signposts and got it working! Go me!

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to update that this character has finished the Morrowind main story. I'll be moving on to Tribunal and Bloodmoon once I take a break from the game for a while, and then consolidate my magic items.
