I've attempted the old-style TriOp logo for use in a PowerPoint presentation for schoolwork (mock business presentation). The first picture is just a quick coloring; I'll touch the colors up later. I'm concerned mainly with the design (2nd picture). Every reference picture I can find for the old-school logo is really tiny, and I can't get much from them. You guys are usually very good at picking out details I could easily miss after about an hour working on this thing.
What do you think?

Looks ok to me.

The outline is thicker and it's corners are somewhat rounded. Same for the grey lines, they have rounded ends.

Yeah, I've been trying on and off to reproduce a "correct" SS1 TriOp logo for years now. Sucks because it's pretty much impossible to tell exactly what they did with the ends of the bars. Rounded? Beveled? Symmetrical? Asymmetrical? Who knows?

They almost look like.... lead pipes.

The "Terminal Access" manual shows the bars in the logo as being raised, bevelled and rectangular (front cover and pages 1, 25 and 34). However, it also shows the inner triangle as being the other way up from the images above and it's not shown with any colours.
If it's just for a mock presentation then why does it matter if it's slightly out? It's not likely that anyone will recognise the logo anyway.

It matters to me exclusively. I figure if I'm going to remake the logo then I'll at least try and make it right.
But yeah, there seems to be a bit of variation of the logo itself inside and outside the game. I'm trying to get it as close to the one you see in V-mails and such, since that's likely to be the true representation of the logo.
I can see the bits where I can improve it. Thanks Dan.
