Hello, GBM, Dave or whoever it is involved in the backstages of the forums.
Would like it to be changed to NXMT because that's the name I use for anything else such as other message boards. C of K was something I conjured up back then which also brings me to the next reason why I want a change.
Ok I'm sure you all remember the early days of 2003 when I had just joined. I look back on my posts and realised just how much of an ass I was. I thought I was mature enough to handle anything but you guys prove me wrong. Plus I just seemed to stick my nose into topics I'm not even vaguely familiar with and just disrupt the flow with nonsensical one-liners and uninteresting and unrelated statements. I got my ass handed back to me on more than one occasions by several members until Digi himself had to give me a warning for being an over-opinionated whiny little fuck.
I'm sure you've all noticed my recent "absence" from the more populated areas such as the CommChat because there isn't anything for me to say. Unfortunately, I didn't get that into my thick head fast enough back then which then brings me to my next reason. I still feel bad vibes towards me. Whenever I post alongside some of the more... "loved" ones, I start to feel like it was 2003 all over again and what further cemented this feeling was when most of the vets who were around during my arrival, did not bother to post in my topic when I asked what they felt about my recent "changes" towards the forum and it's community. And GBM doesn't seem to reply to any of my PMs [though I have to admit, 1 or 2 might have been totally not worth reading in the first pleace] so I feel even more... "off".
So if it's not too much trouble, I would like to request the change. I'm afraid, sigining up again is a no-no for me, otherwise, I wouldn't even bother to try and explain things to you guys. Don't get me wrong though. I love TTLG. It's the first forum I've ever been to where the atmosphere is totally different from the more common, immature and flame-filled ones and I want to stay even if I don't intend to mingle and mix and have my very own birthday thread or be mentioned in a "Which TTLG member do you adore most?" thread.
Thank you.

As you can see, I changed it. If I were you I would log out and log back in again to ensure that there are no cookie-related problems. There shouldn't be but you never know!

Ain't often that you see a thread starter which differs from first post author. Allow me to bask in this bewonderment a minute.

He's still called "Child of Karras" in the photo album. Might wanna change that too. :thumb:

This version of vB doesn't update thread starters automatically, it needs to be done manually.
Thanks for the reminder about the photoalbum.

Dude, that's part of the fun process of evolving as a member of a community. I shudder with complete revulsion at the retard I was back in the '01 days, but that's part of the joy of growing in a community such as TTLG, you can look back and not only will people (those who were on your ass when you were a 'tard) laugh with you, but they'll commiserate on the fact that if you dig back far enough even
THEY were assholes.
Though never as much of an asshole as you think you were yourself...
Plus the fact, remembering all these name-changes gets fucking difficult. People and their schizoid online identities.

Thanks David. :D
Scots = I think I crossed too many lines back then. :erm: Besides, it would be easier with a mere nick change and others can still see the old post archives from the profile page rather than a new account altogether. Makes people think there's actually two people!

Trust me, there are no "loved ones" in this Community. Everyone has their critic and muse, if you will. (Apart from Tomi).
Gingerbread Man on 3/12/2004 at 02:02
I better not have any goddamned muses. I'm not even Jewish, what the hell do I need with muses?
LOL
