How high can it get, and who has the highest? Mine's only at 2, haha. I am fairly new to the game, level 6, but already I can kill people in 2-3 shots from my bow and can do quite a bit of damage before dying. :sly:

Funny thing. Ive never even noticed it before you pointed it out. Don't know what it is for exactly. Not sure if it even does anything. Probably just affects what people say to you. My guess is that if you complete quests/missions it will go up. If that is true then Im sure you can get it to go up a lot higher than 40, prob. 100 or so. Or maybe it goes up if you just go around and kill ppl.:sly:

When I finished the game it was only 47. I don't now exactly what is it good for.

It's how much people know of your accomplishments and like/dislike you for it. It has a slight affect on your disposition with other people, and also peoples greetings, things like "welcome, your nearly a legend around here" and what not. When I beat the game it was 54.

mine generally goes up one point after i finish a quest that causes rumors or causes someone to speak to others about you (the "bad people" quest from the captain at the fort next to balmora, and the avengement of the hlaalu nobles death while i wasn't in any house caused this for example...both of them gave me one point each).

I think I quit morrowind with 101 reputation... couldn't get it any higher though... I finished just about every quest in the game... all the factions and houses.

Mine was 51 when I finished the main threadline. Then it started jumping when I started killing everything. Its now at 72. I guess a BAD reputatation counts the same as a GOOD one :erg:
